”Behold I make all things new ”.
Looking forward to a New Year is always a time of excitement and hope for a year
that will be better than the last one. It can be and God wants it to be.
Most of the troubles of the world are largely caused by individual or group selfishness. When pride and jealousy meet there is friction; this is not God’s plan for us. As we are all interdependent, this means that we have to make our personal aims subordinate to the general good, so that everybody benefits.. This New Year can be better than last and, if we are willing to learn the lessons of the past, it will be.
